External Window / Facade System
Here you will find a selection of our window tape systems; remember, selecting the correct width is essential when installing window tapes. Ensure you have at least 50mm going back onto the reveal. Before choosing window tape, we strongly recommend that you read the window tape installation guidelines. It's highly recommended to use a quality airtight foam such as our Isowindow WZS, designed to optimise the installation of any high-end window. Although our tapes can be used without primer, we always recommend priming; it will give you a superior bond toy or porous surfaces. Do it right - Do it once.
ISOWINDOW UVAU SYSTEM
Below you will find our External Weather tight sealing system. If you need help in choosing the correct product, contact us, and we will assist. Our Isowindow UVAU WS Two-way is designed to be fitted to the window before installation, so if you want to apply the product to the side of the frame before installation, this is the product of choice. Our Isowindow UVAU ES for the face of the frame after the window is installed. Our Omega Plasto Band product is for secondary water protection under the sill location goes under the insulated passive sill or under an aluminium sill, the Compressed Joint tape goes to the underside of the window frame before installation, sealing the joint between the frame and the sill itself, the Isowindow Foam is applied internally and offers a high degree of sound and insulation performance while protecting your windows from moisture build-up. Our primer works on all substrates, but for ICF, we recommend our water-based Bubi LF Primer. Solvent-based primers dry quicker, but primers such as our Uni Spray can negatively impact ICF if applied in a heavy coat, only a very light pass is required. To complete the system consider using one of our internal tapes, such as our Window Flex Fee or Isowindow Feba Soft.
